The Pacific Men’s Tennis team (9-4, 2-0, #66) is set to take on three tough teams this week at home starting on Wednesday. On Wednesday afternoon the University of Iowa will be coming into Tiger Territory with a record of 6-6. They are coming off a loss to the University of San Francisco Dons this past Saturday. Rain or Shine the Tigers will compete on Wednesday. If there is rain, the West Lane In-Shape Indoor Tennis courts have been reserved.
On Saturday at 2:00pm the Tigers will get a rematch versus the New Mexico Lobos. The Lobos defeated the Tigers at New Mexico last season. The Lobos are a tough and well coached team that is coming in ranked #60 in the country. Accordingly, they post a 8-8 record and are coming off a tough loss to BYU.
On Sunday, soon to be conference foe, Gonzaga will be returning to Pacific. The last time the Tigers faced Gonzaga was in the 2011 season where the Tigers were victorious. Gonzaga is currently 6-7 and will play St. Mary’s on Saturday.
