Pacific Tigers gear up for three matches starting this Friday

The Pacific Men’s Tennis team is gearing up for a clash with the Northern Arizona University Lumberjacks on Friday, March 8th at Pacific.  The Tigers (6-4, 2-0) are coming off a strong victory over the Sac State Hornets while the Lumberjacks (2-9) just lost a 4-3 heartbreaker to UT-Arlington.

While the Tigers will be looking to use their Home Court Advantage, they will also be looking for strong performances from senior Alex Golding, Sem Verbeek, and Denis Stolyarov; both Sem and Denis have won 8 singles matches this season.  The first serve of the day will start at 3:00pm at the Hal Nelson Tennis Courts.  Free pizza, raffles, and more will be offered at the match.

On March 9th, the Tigers will travel to face soon to be WCC conference foe, Santa Clara University.  The Tigers have lost two matches to the Broncos and will look to end that streak Saturday at 11:00am.

On Monday, March 11th, the Tigers will be back at home hosting the University of Texas-Arlington at Pacific at 10:00am.   Be sure to check the schedule for future home matches.

Go Tigers!
